Preparation for an interview

The preparations before the interview should not be taken lightly. They involve:

1) informational preparation
2) psychological preparation
3) physical preparation

When you are ready to start working, you have to think carefully about what exactly you wish to do. Once you have decided on this, you can start looking for vacancies in newspaper and magazines. You can even enquire from friends and relatives regarding vacancies. Once you have found an advertisement that is of interest to you, you should read it carefully and elicit as much information as you can from it.

You should look for the following information:

1) The job title
2) A brief summary of the duties
3) A brief indication of the sort of person required
4) The deadline for application
5) The address to which applications should be sent
6) The method of application

Never apply for a position that you are overqualified or underqualified for.
